As an Associate at White Harris, Ms. Hang assists businesses with employment compliance matters by analyzing business operations, recommending practical workplace practices, and providing counseling for recent employment developments and/or trends.
She has counseled businesses on issues relating to joint employer liability, state and federal overtime exemption laws, paid sick leave laws, pregnancy discrimination disputes, disability accommodation requests, tipping policies, and commissions. She also has experience in drafting employee handbooks, offer letters, confidentiality agreements, non-solicitation and non-competition agreements, arbitration agreements, and independent contractor contracts.
Previously, Ms. Hang worked as a part-time clerk for a law firm specializing in labor law, and has experience with drafting collective bargaining agreements as well as drafting position statements for cases before the National Labor Relations Board.
Ms. Hang attended Fordham University School of Law from 2012-2015 and graduated with the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award. At Fordham, Ms. Hang served as the Writing & Research Editor for the Fordham International Law Journal and was an Associate Editor on the Fordham Law Moot Court Board. She was nominated for the John D. Feerick Award for Social Justice for her Note discussing multinational corporations’ compliance with international labor standards and foreign labor and employment laws.
